YaY! Mega ice storm coming to north Texas!!
Jan 27th
No yay, that was super sarcasm. This means thousands of accidents within hours, a potential 8 hour trek for a 40 minute drive, and general annoyances.
Korean Pears – Yummy!!!
Jan 24th

I went out to the Super “G” mart the today and picked up some Korean pears. These are manly pears as the make American Pears look like little sissys. A box of like 8 of these things weighs 11lbs. Thats pretty hefty for a fruit, and they are scaled in this picture. Note the size in comparison with a full size dinner plate.

Windows 7 beta 1- My personal review
Jan 23rd

I was one of the throngs of people waiting for the Windows 7 beta 1 download when it was relased recently. I am very much let down….. I installed it as soon as the download completed and was expecting soem serious change, however much to my dismay it is the same thing as vista… Just a different task bar and a few **annoying changes** – It does seem to be a bit faster but is not impressive to me at all. I will wait till beta 2 is released before I try it again as many components within this system are broken (Especially the freaking pptp vpn client) I’ll hope the next release is better and that the final product uis much better. Don’t hold your breath though, because it seems Redmond doesn’t have a clue about what the people want these days.
